President
How do we better prepare for planning meetings and Board Meetings? Group agreed to state objectives for each. Work toward Email blasts; 1-pagers as opposed to quarterly newsletters. Use Constant Contact for pre-loaded content we can schedule to send. By the next planning meeting, each Board Member should have a 1-pager to send to our audience. Articles, links, resources, etc.
Also investigate MailChimp for email blasts.
Web creator – identifying someone should be a priority
Need more LinkedIn content.
FB, Instagram, Twitter are all connected and pump out the same material
Go live 1x/month: During planning meetings, we’ll decide on the topic per platform. Which platform, date, topics.
Bring 1-3 contact names who may want to go live.
A few topic ideas: Building Your Social Media presence, starting your own business. Grants/Funding for nonprofit organizations.
Each Board Member should bring one web designer name/quote for consideration.
December Mixer 2023 has been scheduled.
Darrin Wilson is doing a Financial Wellness in the Black Community virtual session in the Aug/Sept timeframe.
Do more networking events, using spaces such as Christiana Cultural Arts Center, Deco
