Samantha Justice Kelley is a creative thought partner in her full-time career as an HR Consultant in the nonprofit sector.

She advises her clients, the majority of whom hold leadership roles in their respective organizations, on labor law compliance, workforce planning, employee relations management, recruiting and onboarding strategies, benefits and compensation equity, and employee performance and development. She also supports an internal consultant team with their client engagements, in addition to their individual professional development.

Samantha also practices as a Leadership & Executive Coach. Following training with the Co-Active Training Institute, she earned her credential as Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), as well as the International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.

In addition to being a proud ICF member, Samantha has previously served in Board Member roles with the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR)’s Atlanta, GA & Washington, DC chapters and has volunteered for various HR professional groups. She has held a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) since 2011 and obtained her SHRM-CP as one of the organization’s first certification holders. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Hampton University in Hampton, VA.

As one who values mentoring relationships, Samantha has mentored through organizations such as Ladies DC, DC SHRM and a DC-based nonprofit that structures mentoring programs across select high schools in the District of Columbia. Outside of these roles, Samantha values quality time with loved ones, traveling to new sites, attending live music shows and working as an independent portrait photographer.
